What is The Paddington BearTM Experience?
The Paddington Bear™ Experience will take you into the world of Paddington, as guests help the Brown family prepare for a very special occasion. This multi-sensory, immersive and interactive walkthrough experience spread across 26,000 sq ft incorporates some of the most iconic locations from the Paddington stories, including Windsor Gardens, and live entertainment for the entire family to enjoy.
Where is The Paddington BearTM Experience?
We are located at Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7PB. Find us on Google Maps here.
Our Entrance is on the Queen’s Walk, closest to Westminster Bridge.
How long is the experience?
The experience lasts approximately 70 minutes, from your ticket start time. Guests are welcome to stay to enjoy the Marmalade Day celebrations, games, and treats in Windsor Gardens at the end of the experience for longer.
Is The Paddington BearTM Experience suitable for children?
The Paddington Bear™ Experience is suitable for all ages and the entire family.
There are some moments with loud sound effects and flashing lights – but Paddington’s friends will always be available to help our guests if any one requires assistance.
Should children be supervised by an adult?
Anyone 17 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) in the same time slot. Each adult may accompany a maximum of 5 guests who are 17 years and under.
Can photos or videos be taken inside the experience?
Photography and filming is not permitted in certain areas of the experience. As you arrive at Gruber’s Antiques and Paddington Station, photography is welcome. Once you board the train, photography is no longer permitted. When you reach Windsor Gardens, towards the end of the experience, all guests are welcome to take their own photos and guests can also enjoy our photo opportunities, with Paddington himself!
Is the experience physically demanding?
The experience is approximately 70 minutes, which requires walking around multiple locations, with limited seating opportunities throughout. The experience includes interaction and challenges, but you can choose your level of involvement to suit your capabilities and comfort level.
Is the experience wheelchair accessible?
The Paddington Bear™ Experience is wheelchair accessible. There are some moments within the experience that are not possible for wheelchair user participation, however modifications and provisions have been made where possible to accommodate our guests.
We have lift provisions to assist patrons to access all of our experience. We are fully committed to being DDA and mobility accessible.

Is there an Accessibility Guide available for the experience?

Can pregnant people take part in the experience?
The Paddington Bear™ Experience is a 70-minute, walkthrough adventure, with limited seating opportunities. We welcome all to join the fun, at your own discretion.
Are babes in arms allowed into the experience?
Babes in arms are permitted at The Paddington BearTM Experience , however all guests must have a ticket, inlcuding Babes in Arms / Under 2s. Therefore, please ensure you book a free Under 2 ticket(s) in your order. You will not be able to proceed into the experience, unless all members of your party have a ticket.
Are buggies allowed into the experience?
Buggies are not permitted within The Paddington BearTM Experience however, we have a buggy park available on-site where you can leave them free of charge for the duration of your experience.
Please note: our buggy park is not supervised, and therefore ask that all bags and valuables are stored in our supervised charged cloakroom. No bags will be permitted into the experience.
What happens when I arrive?
We recommend all guests arrive 5 minutes before their allocated ticket entry time. Please check-in at our Box Office, where guests will be issued with an entry pass. During this time you can access our buggy park, cloakroom and toilets.
What happens if I am late for my booked arrival time?
Due to the timed nature of The Paddington BearTM Experience, we are unable accommodate latecomers. We will do all we can try and accommodate you, where possible, to the next available ticket time and date.
What should I wear for the experience?
Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. There is no dress code, though we would advise you to wear sensible footwear due to uneven surfaces and as the majority of the experience will be on your feet. We will not allow admittance to any guest wearing clothing which could be seen as crude or offensive
Is there a Buggy Park?
Yes, we have a buggy park available on-site, where you can leave them free of charge for the duration of your experience. Please note, our buggy park is not supervised, and we therefore ask that all bags and valuables are stored in our supervised charged cloakroom.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes. We have a charged cloakroom available. No bags will be permitted into the experience.
Is there an area to purchase food and drink within the experience?
Towards the end of the experience you will be able to purchase an array of Paddington Bear inspired cakes, pastries, hot and cold drinks and of course, the famous marmalade sandwich!

Can I purchase Paddington BearTM merchandise within the experience?
Yes. We have a retail area dedicated to Paddington merchandise and gifts.

Can I hire The Paddington BearTM Experience for a corporate event or special occasion?
Yes. We can cater to a range of events and celebrations here at The Paddington BearTM Experience, from birthday parties and school trips, to corporate events. Please contact groups@paddingtonbearexperience.com.
Are there toilets throughout the experience?
Toilets are available once you have Checked-In via the Ticket Booth. There are toilets located at the beginning and the end of the experience. We strongly recommend guests use the toilet facilities before their experience begins, as we cannot guarantee return entry, and it can take up 10 minutes to reach the facilities depending on the point in the experience.
Do you accept cash?
We are a cashless venue and do not accept cash payments at the attraction.

Can I buy a ticket at the door?
Yes, subject to availability, we have a small allocation of on-the-day tickets which can be purchased within Gruber’s Antiques.
Who needs to have a ticket for entry?
All guests must have a ticket, inlcuding Under 2s. Therefore, please ensure you book a free Under 2 ticket(s) in your order. You will not be able to proceed into the experience, unless all members of your party have a ticket.
How many people will I share my experience with?
There are a maximum of 30 guests per experience group. Please arrive with your full party to check-in together.
Are there carer tickets available?
Yes. Carer tickets are available for The Paddington BearTM Experience, please contact boxoffice.ldn@paddingtonbearexperience.com to book carer tickets. Carer tickets must accompany a paying ticket holder.
Can I add extra guests to my team after booking?
Yes, if there are tickets remaining for your required time slot, you can make an additional booking for extra guests to join you.
Can I refund or exchange my tickets?
Tickets are non-refundable. You may be able to exchange your tickets if you contact Box Office with a minimum of 48 hours notice, but please note exchanges are not guaranteed. You are able to buy ticket protection via ‘Secure my Booking’ available at time of purchase.
